The Precious Dreadful

The story centers on sixteen-year-old Teddi Alder, who joins a library writing group called "SUMMERTEENS" to stave off summer boredom. However, the writing process forces her to confront long-buried, disturbing memories of her childhood friend, Corey, who went missing when they were seven. As Teddi attempts to piece together the truth about Corey's disappearance, she finds her grip on reality slipping, haunted by a mysterious ghost-girl and questioning everything she knows about her mother, her friends, and her own past.
