The Monsters of Templeton

When Willie Upton returns to her hometown of Templeton, New York, after a disastrous affair, she finds the town in a state of "creepy" upheaval: a prehistoric monster has surfaced—and died—in Lake Glimmerglass. At the same time, Willie’s mother reveals that Willie’s father isn't who she thought he was, but a fellow resident of Templeton. Willie embarks on a frantic search through the town’s "archival" history, unearthing the "ghosts" of ancestors, illegitimate children, and a century-old mystery that "claims" the town’s identity.
