One night in Manhattan, Lola steps out for a drink and runs into an ex-boyfriend. Then another. And another. Soon, she realizes these encounters aren't coincidences. She discovers that her former boss is running a shadowy, cult-like startup that uses "possessive" digital technology to manipulate the memories of her exes, forcing them back into her life to help her find "the one." It is a psychological exploration of how we curate our pasts and whether we can ever truly own our own narratives.
