1st to Die

The story follows San Francisco homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer, who finds herself caught in a high-stakes hunt for a serial killer targeting newlyweds. As the investigation stalls and official police procedures fail to produce results, Lindsay joins forces with three friends—a medical examiner, an assistant D.A., and a crime reporter—to form an informal investigative group. Together, they pool their unique professional skills to track down a killer who is always one step ahead of the law.
